About the Role
The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for planning, developing, directing, and coordinating all aspects of sales and marketing efforts for Independent Living residences. This role provides leadership for occupancy development, sales performance, lead generation, advertising initiatives, referral development, and event programs.

What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and manage all aspects of Independent Living occupancy growth and sales initiatives.
- Create and execute annual marketing plans in collaboration with the Senior Housing Marketing and Sales teams.
- Lead sales, referral, advertising, and outreach strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
- Develop and manage sales and promotional budgets.
- Monitor sales team performance and provide coaching to drive results.
- Build and maintain strong referral relationships within the local market.
- Partner closely with the Executive Director and leadership team to ensure alignment with community goals.
- Represent Freedom Plaza at community events and networking opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a CCRC/Life Plan Community sales leadership role.
- Proven success leading high-performing sales teams and achieving occupancy goals.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with sales, marketing, public relations, or related experience.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to create a warm, welcoming, and professional first impression.
- Exceptional customer service and hospitality mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, prospects, and visitors.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
