Job Description

Position Title: PT CNA – Day Shift

Salary: $14/hr – negotiable based on experience. Shift differentials for overnights($1/hr) & weekends ($1.50/hr)

Schedule: Varies, to include weekends as well.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Oklahoma certification as Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
  • Experience in Senior Living preferred.
  • Ability to maintain 100% confidentiality with all work, conversations, documents, etc.
  • Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.
  • Ability to display a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude to the public, residents, and employees at all times.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 100% of the work day.
  • Ability to assist in bathing and dressing of residents with disabilities.
  • Must be able to access and navigate full campus.
  • Ability to independently push a wheelchair with a resident weighing up to 200 pounds.
  • Ability to independently lift, balance, and carry up to 30 pounds.

General Summary:

The PT Certified Nurse Aide is responsible for providing personal and non-personal care assistance to residents when there is a need and following each resident’s personal plan of care; assists residents so that current living conditions can be maintained for as long as is safe and appropriate; promotes independence with daily activities while giving assistance to each resident.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Keeps Charge Nurse, Nursing Coordinator, and Assisted Living Director informed of the status of each resident.
  • Assists with meal service including table set-up, serving, tableside assistance, apartment deliveries, beverage service, dining room cleaning, etc.
  • Records accurate and timely resident progress notes, condition change notes, and other documentation as required and/or assigned.
  • Adheres to Hospitality Promises; We greet residents, employees and guests warmly, by name and with a smile. We treat everyone with courteous respect. We strive to anticipate resident, employee and guest needs and act accordingly. We listen and respond enthusiastically in a timely manner. We hold ourselves and one another accountable. We ask “Is there anything else I can do for you?” We maintain high levels of professionalism, both in conduct and appearance, at all times. We pay attention to details.
