Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Create a welcoming, friendly experience for clients and patients.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails, responding to questions or connecting clients with the right team member.
  • Schedule appointments thoughtfully to support patient needs and hospital workflow.
  • Coordinate client check-in, check-out, and payment processing accurately.
  • Communicate with veterinary team members to help ensure information is shared and patient visits run smoothly.
  • Offer compassionate, discreet support during emotional or challenging situations.
  • Maintain an organized, professional reception area and help keep daily operations on track.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous receptionist experience; at least one year of veterinary experience is preferred, but we encourage candidates with strong customer service skills to apply.
  • A calm, compassionate approach when working with clients, pets, and teammates.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen carefully and respond professionally.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy veterinary setting.
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to learn scheduling, payment, and veterinary practice management systems.
  • A self-starter mindset and a genuine interest in learning and growing professionally.
  • Flexibility and professionalism when handling changing priorities and sensitive situations.

Compensation $15-18/hr depending on experience
