Ready to take your social work career in a bold new direction? Are you North Carolina Pre-Service Trained? Do you have seven years or more experience in Child Protective Services and/or Adult and Aging Services?

We’re growing and looking for dynamic, efficient, and knowledgeable supervisors, program managers and program administrators who are creative and committed to excellence in practice. Our company embraces innovation and redefines how social work is done in North Carolina. Our team authentically embodies the Allies4Outcomes values, including excellence in customer service and the ability to be flexible. We have a need across the state for these interim roles to step in while counties are hiring for open positions to continue to ensure oversight, two-level decision-making and ongoing support of the workforce.

We are actively recruiting in North Carolina to join our Intensive Support Social Work Team (ISSWT). This team will partner with counties, and the Allies4Outcomes Consultant Team to deliver results in addressing case needs across child welfare and adult and aging services program areas.

As an Interim Supervisor, Program Manager, or Program Administrator, responsibilities may include:

  • Providing leadership, oversight, and consultation to county social services staff.
  • Supporting two-level decision-making, case consultation, and quality assurance, as applicable to the assigned program area.
  • Providing guidance and oversight related to North Carolina law, policy, and best practices.
  • Supporting the management of casework, program operations, staffing needs, and critical workloads.
  • Identifying and addressing backlogs, overdue work, workflow challenges, and operational barriers.
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and practice guidance to strengthen staff performance and professional development.
  • Supporting county leadership with program planning, implementation, problem-solving, and performance management.
  • Collaborating with county leadership and the A4O Consultant Team to develop solutions and ensure continuity of services.
  • Reviewing work and processes to promote quality, timeliness, compliance, and accountability.
  • Helping counties navigate staffing transitions and maintain effective service delivery while permanent positions are being filled.
  • Supporting Child Welfare and/or Adult & Aging Services based on your experience, qualifications, and county needs.
  • Participating in after-hours and weekend support or on-call rotations, when required by the assignment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to the unique needs, expectations, and priorities of each county.
  • Consistently demonstrating the Allies4Outcomes commitment to excellence in customer service.

Required Competencies:

We are seeking experienced social services professionals who are ready to step into an interim leadership role and make an immediate impact.

Only applicants with a minimum 7 years of supervisory or management experience in Child Protective Services or Adult and Aging Services in North Carolina will be considered.

Qualified candidates should have:

  • Previous experience in supervision, program management, or program administration.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable North Carolina laws, policies, systems, and practice standards.
  • Deep knowledge of NC policy, practice, continuous quality improvement practices, and engagement of families and children
  • Strong critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to quickly assess needs, establish priorities, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with county leadership, staff, and community partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A demonstrated commitment to quality practice, accountability, flexibility, and exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative and responsive to the A4O team and county partners.
  • Ability to manage change for yourself (flexible, creative, emotionally regulated), assist others in managing change, and support organizational change.
  • Be willing to travel across NC and be flexible in work hours to meet the needs of the County.

Join Allies4Outcomes in transforming social services through leadership, collaboration, innovation, and impact. We have immediate opportunities beginning now. See our website for more info: www.allies4outcomes.com

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
