The role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities with government and semi-government entities, large corporates, banks, financial institutions, telecom operators, education groups, and strategic partners.

The role requires a commercially mature professional who can build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, understand institutional priorities, and translate almentor’s digital learning solutions into tangible business value, workforce development impact, and national capability-building outcomes.

This position is particularly suited for a candidate with strong experience in enterprise relationship management, complex B2B sales, strategic account development, financial analysis, and senior stakeholder management across GCC markets, with strong exposure to the Saudi market being highly preferred.

As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will:

1. KSA Market Development:

  • Develop and execute almentor’s business development plan for the Saudi market, with a focus on high-value institutional opportunities. Identify priority sectors in KSA, including government, semi government, banking, insurance, telecom, education, healthcare, family-owned groups, and large enterprises.
  • Build a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 priorities, workforce transformation, digital upskilling, leadership development, and national talent development.
  • Map key accounts by decision makers, influencers, procurement structures, budget owners, and strategic priorities.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, client needs, and regulatory developments that may influence demand for digital learning and capability building solutions. 2. Enterprise and Government Sales:
  • Lead the full business development cycle from prospecting and relationship building to proposal development, negotiation, closing, and handover to implementation teams.
  • Sell almentor’s portfolio of solutions, including enterprise learning subscriptions, customized eLearning content, national skilling programs, leadership academies, sector specific learning journeys, and strategic B2G projects.
  • Develop account specific value propositions that clearly demonstrate how almentor can support business objectives, employee development, nationalization, talent readiness, customer education, and measurable learning outcomes.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, including CEOs, CHROs, CLOs, procurement teams, transformation leaders, government officials, and technical teams.
  • Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, contract alignment, and internal approval processes. 3. Strategic Account Management:
  • Build long term relationships with priority accounts and position almentor as a trusted learning transformation partner.
  • Develop account plans for key clients, including growth opportunities, renewal potential, cross-selling, upselling, and partnership expansion.
  • Ensure strong coordination with internal teams, including product, content, customer success, project management, marketing, finance, and legal.
  • Support the successful onboarding of new clients by ensuring smooth transition from sales to delivery and customer success.
  • Maintain regular executive level communication with strategic accounts to protect relationships, identify expansion opportunities, and resolve commercial issues. 4. Partnerships and Ecosystem Building:
  • Identify and develop partnerships with Saudi entities that can support almentor’s growth, including training providers, HR platforms, telecom operators, universities, associations, government programs, and consulting firms.
  • Support the creation of joint go-to-market models, reseller partnerships, white-label opportunities, bundled learning offerings, and sector specific initiatives.
  • Represent almentor professionally in client meetings, industry events, conferences, networking forums, and government-related business discussions.
  • Build strong relationships within the Saudi business ecosystem to improve almentor’s market access and credibility. 5. Proposal and Business Case Development:
  • Work with internal teams to prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, business cases, pricing models, and commercial offers.
  • Translate client needs into clear solution designs, including scope, learning objectives, target audiences, delivery model, implementation approach, timelines, and commercial structure.
  • Use financial and analytical skills to assess deal viability, pricing logic, profitability, risks, and expected business impact.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations that communicate value clearly to both business and government stakeholders. 6. Pipeline, Forecasting, and Reporting:
  • Maintain an accurate and updated sales pipeline using the company’s CRM and reporting tools.
  • Provide weekly updates on opportunities, next steps, risks, expected closing dates, and required support.
  • Forecast revenue realistically and proactively highlight risks that may delay or block deal closure.
  • Track performance against assigned targets, including pipeline value, qualified opportunities, closed revenue, renewal potential, and strategic account growth.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent relationship building and executive communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to structure complex deals.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to understand client priorities and convert them into practical learning and development solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial analysis, business case development, pricing assessment, and risk evaluation.
  • Ability to work independently in KSA while coordinating closely with regional teams.
  • Strong presentation and proposal writing skills.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
