Al Packer Ford in Royal Palm Beach, Florida is hiring a Parts Delivery Driver. Put your driving skills and dependability to work with a team that keeps our dealership running!

Job Purpose: The Ford Parts Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery and pickup of automotive parts to and from customers, vendors, and other dealership locations. This role supports the parts and service departments by ensuring efficient transportation and professional customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Parts Delivery and Pickup: Deliver parts to wholesale and retail customers, vendors, and other dealership branches as scheduled. Pick up parts and materials from vendors and return parts as directed.
  2. Vehicle and Route Management: Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and securely. Plan efficient delivery routes and adhere to scheduled delivery times. Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
  3. Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and vendors during deliveries and pickups. Obtain signatures, payment, or other required documentation upon delivery.
  4. Inventory Handling: Verify part numbers and quantities before deliveries. Assist with parts department tasks such as stocking, organizing, and inventory checks when not making deliveries.
  5. Compliance and Safety: Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws. Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management immediately.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move parts up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic/intermediate knowledge of automotive parts is a major plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an automotive dealership or delivery role.
  • Familiarity with the local delivery area and basic route navigation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move automotive parts and packages (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
