About Us

Alpha Ladder Group is a Singapore-headquartered financial services group with regulated businesses spanning capital markets, digital payments, digital assets, asset tokenisation, and cross-border payment solutions. Through its licensed entities, the Group operates within the regulatory frameworks established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

MetaComp, part of the Group, provides digital payment infrastructure and solutions supporting businesses and institutional clients through fiat payments, digital asset services, and cross-border settlement.

We are committed to building scalable, compliant, and innovative financial infrastructure by integrating regulatory requirements, technology, and business needs into our product ecosystem.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Compliance Product Strategist to drive the development and enhancement of compliance-related products, systems, and capabilities across the Group.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, regulatory compliance, and technology. You will translate complex regulatory requirements and evolving industry standards into actionable product strategies, functional requirements, and scalable compliance solutions.

Working closely with Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, Risk, and business teams, you will identify opportunities to improve compliance processes, strengthen risk controls, and leverage automation and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of financial services regulations with product thinking, business analysis, and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance Product Strategy

  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for compliance-related systems and solutions, aligning regulatory obligations with business objectives and technology capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to digitise, automate, and optimise compliance workflows across customer onboarding, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, AML/CFT, sanctions screening, regulatory reporting, and ongoing customer due diligence.
  • Evaluate emerging regulatory developments, industry practices, and technology trends to identify opportunities for new product capabilities and enhancements.
  • Define product priorities based on regulatory urgency, business impact, operational efficiency, implementation complexity, and scalability.

2. Regulatory Requirements & Product Translation

  • Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams to interpret applicable regulatory requirements and translate them into clear product specifications, business rules, workflows, and system controls.
  • Convert regulatory policies and compliance procedures into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
  • Ensure compliance considerations are incorporated throughout the product development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to testing, deployment, and post-launch reviews.
  • Support regulatory gap assessments and evaluate existing systems against new or changing regulatory requirements.

3. Compliance Technology & Innovation

  • Drive the enhancement of compliance technology capabilities, including automated KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, case management, risk scoring, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting.
  • Explore the application of AI, machine learning, data analytics, and workflow automation to improve compliance effectiveness and reduce manual intervention.
  • Assess third-party RegTech solutions, vendors, and technology partnerships, including solution capabilities, integration feasibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to improve system integration, data quality, alert effectiveness, auditability, and management reporting.

4. Cross-Functional Product Delivery

  • Serve as the key liaison between Compliance, Product, Engineering, Risk, Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on product objectives and deliverables.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions to identify operational pain points, define target-state processes, and establish solution requirements.
  • Manage product initiatives from discovery and prioritisation through development, user acceptance testing, implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish clear product success metrics, monitor adoption and effectiveness, and drive ongoing optimisation based on stakeholder feedback and operational data.

5. Governance, Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance products and workflows, including operational efficiency, alert quality, turnaround time, control coverage, and regulatory readiness.
  • Develop product documentation, process maps, control matrices, and implementation plans to support governance and audit requirements.
  • Support internal reviews, regulatory examinations, and audit requests relating to compliance systems and product controls, where required.
  • Track industry developments in digital assets, payments, financial crime prevention, and RegTech to inform the Group's longer-term product strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Law, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in product management, product strategy, compliance transformation, business analysis, RegTech, or financial services technology.
  • Strong understanding of financial services compliance, particularly AML/CFT, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, or regulatory reporting.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to payments, digital assets, or other regulated financial services, preferably within Singapore or other major financial markets.
  • Proven ability to translate complex regulatory or operational requirements into structured product specifications and actionable implementation plans.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across Compliance, Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives, balance competing priorities, and drive projects from conception to implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fintech, digital payments, cryptocurrency, digital asset, banking, or RegTech environment.
  • Experience developing or enhancing compliance platforms, including KYC, transaction monitoring, case management, AML analytics, or regulatory reporting systems.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled compliance solutions, workflow automation, data analytics, or machine learning applications.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data architecture, and technology delivery processes.
  • Experience with regulatory change management, compliance transformation, or enterprise-wide process optimisation.
  • Experience evaluating third-party compliance technology providers and managing vendor integrations.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to shape compliance product strategy within a growing regulated financial services group.
  • Exposure to digital payments, digital assets, cross-border settlement, and emerging financial infrastructure.
  • The opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across Compliance, Product, Engineering, and business teams.
  • A dynamic environment where regulatory expertise, technology innovation, and commercial thinking come together to build scalable financial solutions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
