Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join our team and provide strategic legal support across our business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate legal affairs, commercial contracts, and experience within the F&B or Retail industry.

This role will work closely with management and internal stakeholders to provide practical legal guidance, safeguard the Group’s interests, and support business operations across our diverse portfolio. The ideal candidate combines strong corporate legal expertise with hands-on experience in commercial contracts and a solid understanding of the F&B or Retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, service agreements, leases, NDAs, and other business-related contracts.
  • Provide legal advice to management and business teams on commercial transactions, corporate matters, and operational requirements.
  • Review contractual terms, identify potential legal and commercial risks, and recommend practical solutions to protect the Group’s interests.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable UAE laws and regulations relevant to the Group’s business activities.
  • Support lease negotiations, commercial partnerships, vendor arrangements, and other agreements essential to hospitality and F&B operations.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel, government authorities, landlords, and other relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining legal policies, procedures, contract templates, and internal controls.
  • Provide timely legal support to the Group’s various business units and assist management with legal matters as they arise.

Requirements

  • Native Arabic speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an In-House Legal Counsel within a corporate environment.
  • Previous experience in the Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or Retail industry is essential.
  • Strong hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Good understanding of UAE commercial laws, corporate regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives and provide practical, business-oriented advice.
  • law degree is required; relevant professional qualifications or UAE legal experience will be an advantage.
