The posting

At Alpine Eagle, we are building the future of counter-drone defence. As a fast-growing and internationally successful deep tech company, we specialise in aerospace engineering, defence systems, and machine learning — developing the world’s first swarm-based, airborne counter-drone system.

Modern conflicts have made one thing clear: drones are changing the face of warfare. From critical infrastructure to frontline defence, the threats are escalating — and current solutions are falling behind: Our mission is to change that effectively.

By combining cutting-edge AI with aerospace-grade engineering, we’re giving democracies and institutions committed to the rule of law the technological edge they need to protect themselves in the 21st century.

Alpine Eagle is more than a defence company — it's a call to action. With an international team of experts, a strong financial foundation, and a bold vision for the future, we’re looking for people who want to help shape the next generation of aerial security systems — and build something that truly matters.

We want to reinforce a culture where great ideas can flourish, and great people collaborate. Help us growing and succeeding!

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Business Development Manager to support our strategic growth initiatives across multiple markets. In this role, you will focus on core business development operations, conducting in-depth analyses, managing bids and proposals, and driving operational effectiveness in partnership with senior leadership.

🎯 How you will make an impact:

  • Perform rigorous market analyses, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity assessments to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, bids, reports, and presentations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage business development activities, including tracking leads, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
  • Support the senior leadership and country-specific BD leads with strategic insights derived from thorough data-driven analyses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and legal, ensuring cohesive and competitive submissions for bids and contracts.
  • Continuously refine business development processes, incorporating best practices and leveraging relevant tools and methodologies.

✅ What you need to be successful:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in business development or other business-focused role (e.g. consulting), market analysis, or proposal writing roles.
  • Proven analytical, research, and presentation skills, with an ability to synthesize complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Highly proficient in creating compelling reports, bid submissions, presentations, and other strategic documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency with analytical and presentation tools, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant CRM platforms.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages (particularly German) are beneficial.
  • Experience or familiarity with defence, aerospace, or UAV technology sectors is advantageous but not essential. Preferably former UK military personnel.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving scale-up environments, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach.

We particularly value analytical rigor, clarity of thought, and operational effectiveness in this role, helping Alpine Eagle achieve ambitious growth objectives.

At Alpine Eagle, you're not just taking a job — you're joining a mission.

Alpine Eagle is committed to diversity, inclusivity, and equal opportunity. We welcome applications from individuals of all ethnicities, genders, religions, disabilities, ages, and sexual identities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
