Estamos en búsqueda de un Body Design & Release Engineer (Lighting) para integrarse a un proyecto estratégico dentro de la industria automotriz. Este perfil será responsable del diseño, desarrollo, validación y liberación de componentes de iluminación exterior, asegurando el cumplimiento de los objetivos de desempeño, calidad, manufacturabilidad, costo y tiempo establecidos para cada programa vehicular.

El candidato ideal contará con experiencia en desarrollo de componentes automotrices, liberación de diseño, coordinación con proveedores y gestión de sistemas de iluminación exterior como headlamps, tail lamps y otros componentes de Vision Lighting.

Actividades principales

  • Diseñar, desarrollar y liberar componentes y sistemas de iluminación exterior para programas automotrices.
  • Participar en todas las fases del desarrollo de producto, desde el concepto hasta el lanzamiento y producción masiva.
  • Coordinar actividades de ingeniería con proveedores Tier 1 y equipos multifuncionales para asegurar el cumplimiento de los entregables del programa.
  • Revisar, validar y aprobar diseños CAD y documentación técnica de componentes de iluminación.
  • Gestionar liberaciones de componentes mediante sistemas PLM y procesos de control de cambios.
  • Dar seguimiento a pruebas de validación, DVP&R y requisitos de desempeño del producto.
  • Asegurar el cumplimiento de principios de Design for Manufacturing (DFM) durante el desarrollo.
  • Participar en actividades de resolución de problemas, análisis de causa raíz y mejora continua.
  • Coordinar revisiones de diseño, evaluaciones de factibilidad y actividades de integración vehicular.
  • Gestionar documentación técnica, BOMs, especificaciones y hojas técnicas de los componentes.
  • Trabajar de manera cercana con áreas de manufactura, calidad, compras y proveedores para garantizar lanzamientos exitosos.
  • Participar en actividades de planta durante fases de prototipo, validación y lanzamiento de producción.
  • Monitorear el desempeño de componentes y dar soporte a problemas identificados durante builds y producción.
  • Asegurar el cumplimiento de estándares de calidad, seguridad y requerimientos corporativos.

Requirements

  • Licenciatura en Ingeniería Mecánica, Automotriz o carrera afín.
  • Se buscan niveles de experiencia:
  • Mid-Level Engineer: 2 a 4 años de experiencia.
  • Experiencia en diseño, validación y liberación de componentes automotrices.
  • Conocimiento en sistemas de iluminación automotriz, cámaras o componentes de Vision Lighting es altamente deseable.
  • Experiencia en materiales y procesos de manufactura automotriz como acero, aluminio, soldadura, remachado, clinchado, bonding y pintura.
  • Experiencia utilizando CATIA V5, 3DX, NX o herramientas CAD equivalentes.
  • Conocimiento de Teamcenter o sistemas PLM para gestión documental y liberación de producto.
  • Experiencia con DVP&R, eBOM, pBOM y documentación técnica de ingeniería.
  • Conocimiento de Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
  • Experiencia trabajando con proveedores Tier 1 y OEMs automotrices.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en entornos multifuncionales y gestionar múltiples actividades simultáneamente.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, organización y resolución de problemas.
  • Inglés avanzado (B2-C1).
