Job Description:

We’re looking for someone who knows their technology and knows how to treat people. As our VIP IT & AV Support Specialist - Contract, you’ll provide “white glove” support to executives and key stakeholders, ensuring their technology works seamlessly wherever they work. This role combines high-touch executive IT support with hands-on audiovisual (AV) support for executive meetings, conference rooms, presentations, and corporate events.

You’ll be responsible for delivering fast, reliable, and discreet technical support while ensuring executive technology and meeting experiences run smoothly. If you’re proactive, technically strong, and can remain calm under pressure, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated, priority IT and AV support to executives and VIP users onsite and remotely.
  • Deliver personalized, white-glove service with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, mobile device, and collaboration technology issues with urgency and minimal disruption.
  • Provide hands-on AV support for executive meetings, presentations, town halls, and corporate events.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot conference room AV systems, including displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, room controllers, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and related meeting room technologies.
  • Perform pre-meeting technology checks to ensure conference rooms and executive presentations are fully operational.
  • Troubleshoot complex AV issues, including audio quality, video connectivity, display problems, wireless presentation, and conferencing integration.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain executive technology environments and AV systems to prevent issues before they arise.
  • Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Act as a single point of contact for VIP users, managing IT and AV incidents from initial request through resolution.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, network, security, facilities, and other technical teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Provide concierge-level onboarding for new executives, including device configuration, technology setup, and personalized training.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of AV configurations, executive technology environments, support activities, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Participate in Service Desk operations, IT projects, and other End User Services responsibilities as needed. This position is not limited to VIP support.
  • Provide after-hours and on-call support as required, including potential travel to executive residences to troubleshoot critical technology issues.

The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
