About Us

At Alteva RCM, we're dedicated to helping healthcare providers thrive through expert revenue cycle management, strategic insight, and innovative solutions. We're always looking for passionate, driven professionals who want to make a meaningful impact, grow their careers, and be part of a collaborative team committed to excellence.

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic leader to own and unify our strategy for federal out-of-network payment dispute arbitration. This person will lead multiple teams and specialists, each focused on a different part of the arbitration process, and turn their combined insights into one cohesive, data-driven strategy with significant financial impact across the company.

This is not a traditional people-management role. We need someone who contributes substantively: identifies where to focus, brings original ideas, makes sharp arguments, and connects teams that would otherwise operate in silos. Today this function is held by company leadership alongside their other responsibilities. This hire will be the dedicated owner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate 2-3 or more teams across the core areas of strategy, including argument drafting, offer strategy (how much to ask for in arbitration), arbitrator selection, and data analytics. As the function evolves, you will also shape strategy around open negotiation and batching, dismissals, collections, and arbitrator conversation talking points.
  • Synthesize information across teams into a unified, global strategy, ensuring teams are aligned, communicating, and building on each other’s insights.
  • Contribute directly to strategic direction by identifying priorities, asking questions individual teams haven’t asked themselves, and bringing new ideas.
  • Work hands-on with data (Power BI, Excel, code, and AI tools) to find patterns, test strategies, and turn analysis into practical action.
  • Partner with the data analytics team to build out and mature our analytical capabilities.
  • Account for both quantitative data and subjective factors, such as arbitrator tendencies and argument framing, in strategic decisions.
  • Make high-stakes decisions with serious financial impact, and communicate them clearly to leadership and to departments across the company.
  • Build and refine team structure, workflows, and reporting as the function grows.
  • Over time, help determine how our strategy extends to state arbitration processes.
  • Report to senior leadership on performance, priorities, and strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading multiple teams or functions and setting a unified strategy across them. We expect an associate director or senior manager level, with flexibility for candidates above or below.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, including the ability to dig through complex information, identify what matters, and turn it into an actionable plan.
  • Creativity and sharp, out-of-the-box thinking, with the ability to build persuasive arguments and generate original ideas.
  • Technical comfort with data tools (Power BI, Excel, and ideally code and AI tools) and the ability to work with data directly.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the presence to drive decisions in the room and the ability to work across departments.
  • Ability to quickly learn a complex regulatory and technical domain.

Preferred

  • Healthcare revenue cycle management experience
  • Experience with healthcare payment disputes or arbitration
  • Legal or regulatory background (helpful, not required)
  • Experience in a strategy role that blends technical depth with data analysis, such as pharma strategy or similar fields

Pay Range

$125,000—$175,000 USD

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
