Always Best Care Senior Services Charleston is hiring caregivers!

As a caregiver, you’ll work one-on-one with older adults in their homes while building valuable skills in patient care, communication, compassion, and working with families — experience you can carry with you into your future healthcare career.

This is a great opportunity if you want to:

• Gain hands-on experience caring for older adults • Build confidence working directly with patients and families • Develop skills that will help you in your future healthcare career • Work part-time around classes, clinicals, and your school schedule • Make a meaningful difference in someone's day

No previous caregiving experience? That's okay! We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you feel confident in your role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a caregiver, you’ll provide support that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Responsibilities may include:

  • Medication reminders
  • Assistance with mobility and walking
  • Personal care and hygiene support
  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Running errands or grocery shopping
  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Observing and reporting changes in condition

What We’re Looking For:

We provide training, but ideal candidates are:

  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable
  • Interested in healthcare or human services
  • Strong communicators with good time-management skills
  • Physically able to assist clients safely
  • High school graduates (or GED equivalent)
  • Dependable with reliable transportation (required)
  • Comfortable around pets
