Part-Time Overnight Caregiver – 12-Hour Night Shifts

Location: The Colony, TX 75056 Schedule: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM Hours: 2 shifts per week / 24 hours Weekend Requirement: Must be available to work at least ONE weekend day

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate part-time overnight caregiver for a consistent 12-hour night shift with a client in the 75056 area.

The client is bed-bound and living with a terminal illness and requires attentive, hands-on assistance throughout the night. We are looking for a caregiver who is dependable, patient, compassionate, and comfortable providing total-care assistance.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Repositioning/turning the client every 2 hours
  • Assisting with toileting and incontinence care
  • Bathing and personal hygiene
  • Feeding and meal assistance
  • Changing clothing and linens as needed
  • Providing comfort and companionship
  • Monitoring the client throughout the overnight shift
  • Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment
  • Documenting care provided during the shift

Schedule Requirements:

  • Must be available 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
  • Must be able to work 2 overnight shifts per week
  • Must be available for at least ONE weekend day
  • Must be able to reliably work the full 12-hour shift

Requirements:

  • Previous professional caregiving experience required
  • Experience caring for bed-bound or total-care clients strongly preferred
  • Must be comfortable providing hands-on personal care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, and repositioning
  • Must be physically capable of safely assisting with repositioning a bed-bound client
  • Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
  • Must remain awake, attentive, and responsive throughout the overnight shift

This is a consistent, ongoing 24-hour-per-week assignment and is ideal for an experienced caregiver looking for a dependable part-time overnight schedule.
