Job Description

Deliver professional hair cutting, styling, colouring, and grooming services to cruise ship guests, catering to different hair types and both male and female clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform professional haircuts and styling for ladies and gentlemen.
  • Deliver blow-drying, hair colouring, and chemical hair services.
  • Provide hair and scalp treatments and men's grooming services.
  • Conduct guest consultations and recommend suitable hairstyles and products.
  • Maintain professional hairdressing tools, hygiene, and salon safety.
  • Stay updated on current hairstyles and trends.
  • Contribute to guest satisfaction, retention, and salon revenue.
  • NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing qualification or internationally recognized equivalent.
  • Strong blow-drying skills across all hair types.
  • Confident cutting and styling skills for ladies and gentlemen.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in hair colouring.
  • Understanding of chemical handling, health and safety, and salon hygiene.
  • Minimum 6 months of recent, continuous, relevant full-time employment experience.
  • Freelance, self-employed, and part-time experience are not accepted.
  • Must be able to provide an official Employment Certificate stating job title, employment period, and employer details.
  • Intermediate English communication skills and a minimum 80% Marlins English Test score.
  • Experience in professional hair salons or luxury spas.
  • Knowledge of current hairstyling techniques and trends.
  • Retail sales and hair care product recommendation skills.
