Do you want to help customers turn their data into a competitive advantage? The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services team is growing and looking for Delivery Consultants to partner directly with customers on designing, implementing, and managing data and analytics solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

As the team expands to meet increasing customer demand, you will play a key role in assessing customer requirements, architecting tailored solutions, and guiding implementation from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to evaluate current infrastructure, recommend migration strategies, and ensure that every solution is operationally ready and optimized for performance. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives.

Key job responsibilities - Design and implement scalable, secure AWS data and analytics solutions tailored to each customer's technical requirements and business objectives - Collaborate with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration and modernization strategies - Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery, ensuring adherence to best practices and managing risks - Contribute to presales activities by defining solutions for complex technical challenges and helping identify new opportunities within existing engagements - Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, creating reusable artifacts, and contributing technical content such as reference architectures and best practices

The position may require up to 50% travel to customer sites.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience - 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise storage, including parallel and clustered file systems (e.g., IBM Spectrum Scale/GPFS) and NAS/SAN (e.g., NetApp ONTAP) - Experience with storage performance analysis and tuning (latency, throughput, IOPS) for high-concurrency workloads - Working knowledge of Oracle Exadata architecture (e.g., Smart Scan, storage cells, RAC, ASM) and its impact on migration design - Experience delivering large-scale data and storage migrations to the cloud, including sizing, data transfer and cutover - Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash) - Fluent English, written and spoken

- Experience with AWS storage services (e.g., FSx for NetApp ONTAP, FSx for Lustre, EBS, S3, DataSync) - Experience migrating Oracle workloads to AWS (e.g., Oracle Database@AWS, Amazon RDS for Oracle, EC2) - Experience supporting batch workloads that depend on shared file systems - Experience designing high availability, disaster recovery and backup strategies - Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) - AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional) - Experience in financial services, ideally in large-scale migration programmes - Strong communication skills with technical and business audiences - Professional working proficiency in Spanish is a strong advantage
