The posting

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe), Telco, Media & Entertainment, Gaming, Sports (TMEGS) Industries Delivery Practice is seeking an Engagement Manager (EM) to deliver outcome-based cloud and AI engagements for our customers. You will own engagements and workstreams end to end. You are accountable not just for the plan, but for delivering the outcomes we committed to, on time, to standard and on budget.

Most of our engagements are delivered on a fixed-price, outcome-based model. You will translate agreed outcomes into a clear delivery plan with measurable acceptance criteria, then run that plan with discipline. That means managing scope and change against the statement of work, tracking progress and financials, and raising trade-offs early. You will negotiate day-to-day scope and priorities with customer stakeholders within the commercial framework agreed for the engagement, and you will know when to bring in senior colleagues.

You will work with delivery teams that use AI throughout the delivery lifecycle, from requirements and design through code generation, testing and operations. You are hands-on with AI-assisted delivery tools and technically curious enough to understand what they produce, question it, and keep quality high as delivery accelerates. You apply AWS frameworks such as Well-Architected and the Cloud Adoption Framework, and you help put in place the automated quality checks that let standards hold at speed.

Many of our engagements combine AWS builders with AWS Partner Network (APN) partners. You will coordinate partner contributors against clear acceptance criteria. On our largest programs you will work alongside a senior EM to hold a mixed team to a single quality bar.

You will build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders up to director level, report progress in terms of outcomes delivered, and spot early signs of risk before they become escalations. As you grow, you will take on larger and more complex engagements, develop your commercial and executive skills, and contribute reusable assets and AI-enabled practices to the wider team. You are expected to achieve and maintain relevant AWS certifications, including in AI, and to build domain expertise.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud and AI initiatives. We provide a collection of offerings that help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption, and focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies and industries. 221100

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
