The posting

Over the past 20+ years, Amazon has reinvented on behalf of customers and has become the largest internet retailer and marketplace in the world. Through our entrepreneurial culture, Amazon has developed new technologies and products (like Echo) and enterprise services (like Amazon Web Services). Building on this legacy, Amazon is now redefining speed through Quick Commerce — delivering to customers in minutes, not days.

APEX NOC (Network Operation Center) is the central command and control tower for 'Quick Commerce Execution' across Amazon's ultra-fast delivery network. It ensures the hassle-free, on-time flow of inventory across all hops — from hubs to Micro-Fulfillment Centers (MFCs) and onward to the customer. In case of any exceptions, the NOC steps in to resolve the issue in real time and keeps all stakeholders informed on the proceedings. Along with this tactical problem-solving, the NOC is charged with understanding trends in network exceptions and then automating processes or proposing process changes to streamline hyperlocal operations — work that involves live network monitoring and significant analysis of high-velocity delivery data.

Overall, Quick Commerce Ops plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Amazon's ultra-fast delivery promise, and thereby has a direct impact on Amazon's ability to delight its customers in minutes.

Key job responsibilities This role sits at the heart of Central Flow for Quick Commerce, owning end-to-end network flow health across all hops — from hubs into MFCs and every flow in between. As the network's flow steward, the incumbent will:

Identify egregious metrics in real time — spotting flow disruptors, bottlenecks, and exceptions before they cascade. Coordinate actions across teams — mobilizing operations, tech, program, and field teams to keep the network in flow when disruptions hit. Build learnings for next time — codifying every intervention into playbooks and reusable recovery frameworks so the network responds faster with each recurrence. Track until normal state — owning each disruption from detection through recovery, confirming stabilization before closing the loop. Leadership Scope: The incumbent will lead a team of L2s, L3s, and managers. As Quick Commerce scales, this role will continuously evolve to take on new workstreams — the successful candidate must be energized by ambiguity and comfortable building the plane while flying it.

What We're Looking For: An experienced, hands-on Manager passionate about using data to drive efficiencies and influence decisions. Deep functional knowledge, program-design ability, and defect-reduction experience required. Strong analytical skills and Excel expertise essential; SQL and R/Python a plus. Superb communication, project management, and stakeholder skills, with adeptness in AI tools (Kiro, Amazon Quick).

About the team Over the past 20+ years, Amazon has reinvented on behalf of customers and has become the largest internet retailer and marketplace in the world. Through our entrepreneurial culture, Amazon has developed new technologies and products (like Echo) and enterprise services (like Amazon Web Services). Building on this legacy of innovation, Amazon is now redefining speed itself through Quick Commerce — delivering everyday essentials to customers in minutes, not days.

APEX NOC (Network Operation Center) is the central command and control tower for 'Quick Commerce Execution' across Amazon's ultra-fast delivery network. It ensures the hassle-free, on-time flow of inventory from dark stores, micro-fulfillment centers (MFCs), and neighborhood hubs to the customer's doorstep within the promised delivery window (typically 10–30 minutes). In case of any exceptions — a delayed rider, an out-of-stock item, a demand surge, or a hyperlocal supply gap — the NOC steps in in real time to resolve the issue and keeps all stakeholders informed on the proceedings.

Along with this tactical, real-time problem solving, the NOC is also charged with understanding trends in network exceptions across dense delivery zones and then automating processes or proposing process changes to streamline hyperlocal operations. This second aspect involves live network monitoring, demand forecasting, and significant analysis of high-velocity delivery data.

Overall, Quick Commerce Ops plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Amazon's ultra-fast delivery promise and thereby has a direct impact on Amazon's ability to delight its customers in minutes.

- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience establishing processes, workflows, standard procedures and change management

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
