The Product Manager, Global Marketing Tooling will own the roadmap and delivery for a defined product area within the global marketing technology portfolio. This is an individual contributor role. The Product Manager (PM) is responsible for setting product direction for their area and translating it into clear requirements, making day-to-day prioritization decisions, and owning the product lifecycle end to end to deliver measurable outcomes that support the organization's technology transformation goals.

This role operates at the intersection of marketing operations, technology, and business strategy. The PM turns team priorities into clear product requirements, partners closely with engineering to deliver high-quality solutions, and drives adoption across global marketing stakeholders. They navigate ambiguity, build strong cross-functional relationships, and apply good judgment to balance speed with quality. Depending on the need, solutions range from new capabilities built on top of the marketing technology stack to configuration and extension of existing platforms.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with solid product management fundamentals, a bias for action, and a track record of shipping marketing technology products that deliver measurable business impact.

Key job responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap - Own the multi-quarter roadmap for your assigned product area within the marketing tooling ecosystem, and contribute to the broader product strategy. - Define a forward-looking product vision for your area, informed by customer observation and business strategy, and evolve the roadmap proactively rather than only in response to incoming requests. - Conduct direct observation and discovery with marketing customer teams to distinguish underlying needs from stated requests, and use those insights alongside usage data to set product direction. - Define success metrics and use data to prioritize features, measure outcomes, and iterate. - Decide what to build and, just as importantly, what not to build, with rationale tied to customer impact and strategic fit rather than request volume. Escalate larger cross-cutting decisions as needed.

Product Delivery & Execution - Own the product lifecycle for your area, from intake and requirements gathering through launch. Partner with engineering as they own the technical build, then stay engaged through user acceptance testing, smoke testing, follow-up, and documentation. - Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria through customer discovery, stakeholder interviews, and close collaboration with engineering. - Translate business needs into clear specifications that engineering can scope, design, and build against. - Partner with engineering to evaluate technical tradeoffs, assess feasibility, and identify design risks, asking the right questions to shape the solution before build begins. - Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual marketing workflows, and prioritize automation that reduces effort and improves the customer experience. - Maintain the business stakeholder relationship throughout delivery, keeping requesters informed and supported from intake through post-launch.

Stakeholder Management & Influence - Build trusted relationships with marketing operations, engineering, and business stakeholders. - Serve as the product point of contact for your assigned area, owning the customer relationship from initial request through delivery and post-launch support, with a focus on responsiveness and transparency. - Drive alignment across competing needs through data and clear communication. - Own the go-to-market for product launches, including communications, training, and enablement. - Help define data standards, taxonomy requirements, and integration specifications for your products.

About the team Global Marketing Tooling (GMT) sits at the center of Prime Video's marketing operations, building and managing the tools that power marketing teams worldwide. We own the full lifecycle of tooling requests, from discovery and business requirements through delivery and post-launch support, partnering closely with engineering teams to bring solutions to life. Our mission is to make every marketing team we serve feel heard, supported, and equipped. We value customer obsession, radical transparency, and end-to-end ownership. We're a scrappy, globally minded team refining how we prioritize and deliver high-impact work, and we're looking for someone who thrives in that kind of environment.

- 3+ years of product management experience - Experience managing technical products or online services - Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services - Experience developing operational processes and technologies

- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization - Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity - Experience building products for marketing and creative stakeholders

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
