The posting

Amazon Legal is seeking a hands-on, AI-native Product Manager – Technical to transform how legal work gets done for Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS). This is a technical product role requiring deep architecture influence, sitting at the intersection of ASCS’s engineering roadmaps and the legal risks our team manages. You will spend the majority of your time building working AI agents and automation, and shaping how ASCS products are built alongside engineering.

As the ideal candidate, you bring enough technical depth to have credibility with the engineering teams you work with. You can dive into technical detail with engineers and drive constructive discussion, ask the right questions about technology choices and architecture trade-offs, spot risks and failure modes, recognize when the technical information you have been given is inaccurate or not yet well understood, and know when a design is complex enough to warrant a principal engineer’s review. You pair that with hands-on building: you have configured AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, and no-code and low-code platforms yourself, with the judgment to know when a tool is good enough to ship and the discipline to measure whether it actually gets used. And you carry enough legal-adjacent fluency (which is to say, you have worked alongside lawyers and understand why a privacy or commercial position matters) to be trusted in both the engineering room and the legal one. You read a manual process, separate the genuine judgment from the scaffolding, and you redesign the work so AI carries the process and the legal team is freed to focus on the judgment.

This role involves access to confidential legal information and requires a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

Key job responsibilities Build, deploy, and maintain AI agents and automation workflows that scale the legal team’s impact, which includes client-facing tooling that synthesizes existing legal guidance into interfaces that problem-solve quickly.

Own a clear customer experience and roadmap for legal tooling, and make the ongoing strategic decisions about direction and priorities that the product requires.

Engage credibly with ASCS engineering teams early in their roadmaps, evaluate technical proposals and architecture trade-offs, and shape design decisions alongside engineering to influence technical direction for compliance.

Identify technical intersections where compliance can be built into the product, foresee the consequences of design choices, and surface the associated legal risks back to the legal team.

Think big about how automation makes coordination unnecessary rather than merely faster, which enables the team to amplify and scale its impact.

- Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Master's degree, or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing - Experience working independently and directly with all levels of legal and business partners or equivalent - Hands-on experience building automation workflows using AI tools (chatbots, LLM agents, workflow automation platforms, no-code builders, or equivalent) - Experience driving the end-to-end roadmap, strategy and definition of AI products or features, and communicating deployment results to senior leadership

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
