This role requires expertise to develop network-wide strategies and drive operational excellence. Collaborate with multiple business teams including FC operations, HR, finance , supply chain, transportation, work force staffing and others.
Key job responsibilities * Develop and execute short/medium/long-term operational plans to optimize staffing costs. * Supporting with warehouse staffing/capacity metrics forecasting using data modeling to drive a collaborative decision-make. * Responsible for warehouse processing capacity planning data to identify trends and improvement opportunities; focus on understanding data deviations, their root causes, and driving forward-looking opportunities * Analyze capacity planning data to identify trends and improvement opportunities and be able to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders. * Collaborate with global teams across Europe. * Support Production planning and cost optimization initiatives.
A day in the life This role follows a weekly cadence: working with Operations, Finance, and HR stakeholders, consuming demand signals, and working out the best staffing approach for fulfillment centers across multiple European countries. Early in the week you shape assumptions on productivity, attendance, and hiring; midweek you translate these into labor plans; by week's end those plans are presented to regional directors for approval. Alongside this rhythm, you lead a team of 12-15 planners on continuous improvement, making our processes leaner, more accurate, and less error-prone, while respecting the upstream and downstream constraints that shape what fulfillment centers can realistically deliver.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field - Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in managing and troublshooting network - * Experience using Excel.
- Experience with operations/supply chain - Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing efforts, transportation and logistics, or fulfillment and distribution centers - Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques - Experience ability to understand and devise new models that work - * Master's Degree in relevant field.
