The posting

Are you excited about using AI to reimagine how legal work gets done? The Amazon Health Services (AHS) Legal team is looking for a Program Manager who can turn manual, time-consuming processes into scalable, AI-powered workflows. As the team grows to meet the demands of growing businesses, including Amazon One Medical and Amazon Pharmacy, this role will be instrumental in rebuilding and modernizing how our legal team operates, so we can spend more time enabling the business and less time on repetitive tasks.

You will work at the intersection of legal operations and technology, identifying where automation can replace manual effort and designing the right tools to make it happen. You bring experience configuring AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, or no-code/low-code solutions, paired with the judgment to know when a solution is ready to ship and the discipline to measure whether it delivers real value. This role involves access to confidential legal information and requires a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

Key job responsibilities - Own the program roadmap for legal process automation: define milestones, manage cross-team dependencies, identify risks early, and drive timely resolution or escalation to keep delivery on track. - Evaluate, pilot, and build AI-powered tools and workflows that replace manual legal and compliance processes, measuring adoption and time savings to validate impact. - Partner with attorneys, compliance professionals, and business teams across multiple business lines to identify trends, recurring pain points, and opportunities for automation. - Define success metrics and build reporting frameworks that give leadership clear visibility into program health, operational efficiency, and vendor performance. - Collaborate with other Program Managers across the organization to share best practices, avoid duplicated effort, and raise the bar on program management standards.

A day in the life You will split your time between collaborative and independent work. Part of your week involves meeting with attorneys and business partners to understand their workflows, spot patterns, and prioritize where automation will have the greatest impact. The rest is heads-down time — researching tools, designing solutions, testing prototypes, and iterating based on user feedback. This is an individual contributor role, so you will own your projects end to end while staying closely connected to the broader PM community across Amazon Legal.

About the team The AHS Legal team is dedicated to enabling Amazon's healthcare businesses. We partner closely with business teams to build smart legal frameworks that accelerate innovation. We value curiosity, collaboration, and a sense of humor, and we believe the best legal support comes from understanding the business deeply enough to stay ahead of its needs.

- 3+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Bachelor's degree

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
