If so, Rapid and Rural Logistics (R2L) Finance is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with a record of achieving results.

The RSR+ (Rural Super Rural) program is on a mission to bring delivery speed parity to rural and super rural customers across the country. We operate as a fulfillment center (FC) model within last-mile delivery — meaning we don't just plan strategy, we build and run real operations. Our finance teams partner closely with our operations and program teams to influence the strategic direction of the business, drive operations excellence, and make sound investment and expansion decisions, with the primary goal of continuously improving the customer experience while driving long-term profitability for our portfolio of businesses. Our teams experiment, fail fast, learn, and scale rapidly, while maintaining a data-driven decision-making culture.

This role is responsible for financial consolidation, planning, and weekly and month-end close (MEC) reporting of financial performance of Freight-In cost, the cost to transport inventory to our fulfillment centers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, sustain a higher level of controllership, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment. They will collaborate with various stakeholders and business units across Amazon, bring excellent verbal and written communication skills, and prioritize the most impactful projects and programs to drive businesses forward. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity of building innovative solutions with large-scale data mining tools, identifying high-priority work and projects that maximize results for key stakeholders, and solving complex problems that impact company-wide strategic decisions.

Key job responsibilities - Delivers weekly/monthly financial close. - Creating financial models and plans, interpreting large data sets, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon - Building effective business partnerships and using active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner - Identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs through data and financial analysis inclusive of proactively resolving defects, benchmarking key performance indicators, and developing new metrics - Implementing solutions to simplify, improve, automate, standardize and scale processes

- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - MBA, or CPA - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
