The posting

Amazon strives to be earth's best-employer, our goal as the PXT PMO (People Experience and Technology Program Management Office) is to bring this world class experience to our HR Teams and our employees across Australia (AU), Singapore (SG) and China (CN) Operations. Our team exceeds customer expectations by a) ensuring that our employees have a bar-raising experience b) helping our HR teams utilize most efficient & effective processes, systems and mechanisms c) enabling data-driven decision making d) identifying defects, challenging status quo and driving continuous improvement across the employee life cycle.

Are you excited about partnering with Amazon HR, Operations and Technology leaders to drive strategic high-visibility projects and lead operational process improvements? Are you ready to work side by side with business and technology partners in order to analyze and identify solutions to fix defects? Are you an expert leader with a strong analytical problem-solving attitude and excellent communication skills?

If so, we are looking for you: The PXT PMO team is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a proven delivery record to own and execute strategic, cross-functional projects across AU, SG and CN. You will be the connective tissue between site-level pain points and central/regional technology teams, translating operational problems into product requirements and driving them to deployment. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and impacts, including monthly business reviews to VP level.

To be successful in this position, we seek an innovative and analytical leader/program manager who has the knowledge/experience in HR, HR Operations, Tools & Systems, and AI/automation, with the ability to solve complex and technical problems with simple and practical solutions. You will champion AI adoption across site HR teams and drive digital-first enablement for new site launches.

Cross-team coordination, problem solving & analytical mindset, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities - Drive program objectives: provide program management and define project plans, manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support

- Scale services and tools: design processes and procedures that scale with the business' growth in volume, complexity, and global geographic dispersion

- Define key performance indicators: develop metrics for core programs and processes, and track delivery against program objectives

- Work is strategic: Manages significantly complex and important initiatives that resolve critical and/or endemic challenges

- Communicate new/updated programs, policies, and processes to leaders, employees, and cross functional organizations. Work closely with HR, PXT Technology and Programs, Operations, Finance and ER/Legal teams to ensure processes and trainings are aligned

- Coordinate end-to-end delivery of PXT technology launches across the AU network, managing dependencies across product, engineering, change management, and site operations teams

- Drive AI and automation adoption within PXT site teams: identify opportunities to improve or remove standard work through AI solutions

- Operate the fast feedback-to-intake loop: capture site team feedback and problem statements, translate into technology intakes, and drive prioritization with central teams

A day in the life You will partner across site HR teams, central technology teams, and regional leadership to drive the delivery of tools and systems that directly improve associate and manager experience. Your day involves triaging incoming site feedback, progressing active launches through dependency coordination, preparing leadership updates, and identifying automation opportunities. You operate at the intersection of strategy and execution — equally comfortable in a deep-dive on a technical intake as you are presenting portfolio status at a monthly business review.

About the team The PXT PMO sits in AU Operations HR, supporting the AU, CN and SG fulfillment networks. We are a small, high-impact team responsible for coordinating all HR technology and process launches — from intake through deployment and adoption. We operate with a bias for action and a digital-first mindset, championing AI and automation to simplify and remove standard work from site teams.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Program Management, Human Resources, Employment Law, Computer Science, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research or a related field

- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Experience with AI and HR technology platforms and systems (e.g. workforce scheduling, associate self-service tools, engagement platforms)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
