The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is looking for a skilled Senior Security Consultant to join Global ProServe Security (GPS) in Singapore. Our consultants give security advice, architecture guidance and security engineering, lead proof-of-concept projects, and deliver customer engagements. You will work with customers to address security risk, achieve their security outcomes, and implement and migrate their solutions and workloads to the cloud. Along the way you will protect customer assets, help customer security teams work more effectively, and make sure customers don't accept unnecessary risk.
You will work on fast-paced, complex projects that deliver business and security outcomes for customers. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled technical security professional. You can coach executive security and cloud leaders on security strategy, risk and cloud security operations, and you can also dive deep into AWS security technology. You will invent, extend and adapt technology to fit customer needs, and coach and mentor junior consultants.
This role also acts as the Area Security Single Threaded Leader (STL). As Security STL you are the local security owner for your assigned area, making sure security is built in from pre-sales through delivery, and that risks are found and addressed early.
Key job responsibilities
- Act as the technical leader for customer engagements, particularly the security workstreams, leading teams of consultants. - Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs. - Lead internal security initiatives that deliver quantifiable impact, and develop strategic relationships with internal and external security leaders. - Enable and engage delivery partners to support secure project delivery and drive adoption of security best practices. - Provide mentorship and coaching to develop others in cloud security, compliance, and risk management.

- Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments - 7+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience - 7+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience, or Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience - 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure, troubleshooting, systems administration, networking, DevOps or applications development experience
- Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies - Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience - Knowledge of and experience with cloud infrastructure technologies - Experience in web security, or experience in Kubernetes, Docker or containers ecosystem and experience with threat modeling and penetration testing - CISSP, CISA, CISM or other security certification, or GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or Security+
