The posting

Amazon is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team as Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM), playing a pivotal role in leading design, facility, and engineering activities within Amazon's Fulfillment Network. This role is primarily focused on the Europe (EMEA) region, with consulting support extended to the LATAM and MEATR regions. This role will be in Luxembourg or Madrid with occasional travel to operational sites or those under construction. Reporting directly to the Principal Engineering Manager of Global Building Design & Engineering in India, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and cross-functionally managing structural engineering programs aimed at optimizing and enhancing the safety and efficiency of both existing and new facilities. Collaboration with various stakeholders will be essential to drive the development and management of design specifications, including consideration of cross-disciplinary system impact (e.g., fire protection, HVAC, etc.). The ideal candidate will possess extensive project and program management experience, practical knowledge of structural engineering, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment while partnering with multiple stakeholders to implement cost-saving processes and programs. You will be our Subject Matter Expert for Timber, Metal, and Concrete structures supporting the structural solutions for the prototype templates, working with other global teams such as Preconstruction, Construction, and Sustainability.

Key job responsibilities Europe (EMEA) is the primary region of ownership; the Sr TIPM additionally acts as a consulting SME to the LATAM and MEATR regions for design specifications and standards. The Sr TIPM will be the key contributor and owner on structural design initiatives across the EU region while tracking key metrics and performance, function as consulting SME to stakeholders, be able to build a business case and market building improvements, and work across the industry to understand trends and develop scalable technologies.

A day in the life Your morning begins with a cross-functional stand-up alongside architects, mechanical engineers, and construction managers, aligning on a new fulfillment center design. You dive into structural modeling — optimizing steel frames, analyzing seismic and equipment loads, and future-proofing for robotics. Midday brings peer design reviews where you challenge assumptions and drive cost-efficient solutions. Afternoons involve coordinating with fabricators, resolving site queries with bias for action, and developing standardized design templates that accelerate delivery across the network. You mentor junior engineers, collaborate globally, and own your designs from concept through construction. Here, you don't just design structures — you build the infrastructure powering customer delivery at unprecedented scale.

You dive into structural modeling — optimizing steel frames, analyzing seismic, wind, snow, and equipment loads, and futureproofing for robotics, solar installations, and other structurally-supported loads. Midday brings peer design reviews where you challenge assumptions and drive cost-efficient solutions. Afternoons involve translating field feedback and lessons learned into updates to our structural design standards and templates — owning the engineering criteria rather than site-level coordination, which remains with the Precon and Construction teams. You mentor junior engineers, collaborate globally, and own structural designs from concept through to regional template packages and standards — handing over to construction teams for site-specific adaptation. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
