The posting

Are you interested in shaping the next generation of Amazon's fulfillment network in the region? Do you want to be part of the ongoing growth and expansion of Amazon’s network? The key to this mission is strategic, large scale project management initiatives that will allow us to scale our organization for the future in an extraordinary manner.

The Supply Chain team is seeking a qualified candidate with a strong delivery record and proven project and program management experience to own strategic and tactical, cross-functional operations projects associated with the launch of the new programs within the S&OP and Capacity Planning scope.

The candidate should posses high business acumen and strong analytical skills coupled with strong collaboration and influencing skills. Sr. PM S&OP Trans Planning will own creating forecast, developing forecasting tools, mitigating capacity risks, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks, and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and communication skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities • Own the Transportation Planning and reporting forecast accuracy metric. • Accumulate data from different sources, conduct analysis, recommend solutions, build action plan and drive execution. • Support FC Operations team across AMET with capacity analysis and drive capacity execution with supply chain stakeholders. • Foresee implications based on the projected labor capacity requirement vs available labor capacity in the region and come up with innovative and optimal solutions to support capacity requirements. • Regularly audit the sites for operational conformance, norms of short-term capacity planning and standard operating practices. • Drive special projects (program management) for the region to meet our business goals • Problem solve with a high degree of ambiguity and operating in a rapidly evolving and changing landscape • Collaborate and influence team members, work with internal and external stakeholders, and present projects to senior leadership on a regular basis

- 5+ years of program or project management experience - 5+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.) - Degree in Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization - Previous experience in Capacity Planning
