You'll help define the next set of exciting capabilities while working with a collaborative team of creative and talented engineers, product managers, designers, and solutions architects. Your work will directly impact millions of customers.

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to work backwards from customers to help define the next set of data management, analytics, and AI capabilities. You'll thrive in this role if you love technology, are able to understand complex distributed systems, work well with technical teams and customers, and have a strong sense of ownership and bias for action. Candidates must be comfortable facilitating executive-level reviews, diving deep into data, and expressing ideas through writing.

Utility Computing (UC) AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities - Develop detailed, crisp product definition through frequent and direct contact with customers & partners - Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive consensus, and to define, execute, and roll-out features - Present current solutions and the roadmap to customers, including at conferences and executive briefings - Partner with the leadership team to set the strategy for data, analytics, AI and shape the future

- Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience managing technical products or online services - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
