Prime Video Sports is seeking a Sr. Talent Relations Manager to lead talent operations across our NBA, WNBA, and NWSL properties. This role is central to managing day-to-day talent assignments, logistics, and contract negotiations while driving the long-term strategy for talent recruitment, retention, and development. You will serve as the connective tissue between on-air talent, production teams, and business stakeholders — ensuring our broadcast talent is positioned for success across every platform. This is a high-visibility role that requires a strong operator who can balance the demands of multiple overlapping sports seasons while building trusted relationships with talent, agents, and league partners. The position reports directly to the Head of Talent.
Key job responsibilities • Direct all talent functions related to major sports properties, including NBA, WNBA, and NWSL; provide guidance, partnership, and support to production and operations teams. • Lead primary functions of the talent relations group related to full-time talent, including contract negotiations, talent scheduling, travel coordination, and content development across platforms (social media, marketing, and digital). • Own the complete talent lifecycle on assigned properties — from scouting and recruitment through onboarding, development, and renewal — ensuring seamless continuity across seasons and broadcast schedules. • Manage and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with on-air talent, agents, and league representatives, serving as the primary point of contact for all talent-related matters on assigned properties. • Lead contract renewal strategy and succession planning for broadcast talent, proactively identifying expiration timelines, market comparables, and negotiation positioning. • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, marketing, social media, and content teams to maximize talent visibility and engagement across digital, linear, and emerging media platforms. •Build and nurture a pipeline of emerging talent — including analysts, commentators, reporters, and studio hosts — through active scouting, industry networking, and relationship development. • Partner with legal and business affairs on contract structures, deal terms, and compliance requirements, ensuring all talent agreements align with organizational standards and budget parameters. • Work closely with internal finance teams to ensure all talent payment terms, milestones, and disbursement schedules are met on time and in accordance with contractual obligations; proactively resolve any payment discrepancies or delays. • Serve as a trusted advisor to production leadership on talent-related decisions, providing strategic recommendations on talent pairings, broadcast assignments, and on-air development opportunities.
- 7+ years of creative role understanding consumer trends and creating content experience - • 7+ years of experience in talent relations, talent management, or a related field within sports media or entertainment. - • Demonstrated experience managing on-air talent across multiple sports properties simultaneously. - • Proven track record in contract negotiations and talent deal structuring.
- • Strong existing relationships within the sports broadcasting and media talent community. - • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex, overlapping schedules across multiple leagues and seasons. - • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels — from emerging talent to senior leadership.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
