We're seeking exceptional talent to help develop the next generation of advanced robotics systems that will transform automation at Amazon's scale. We're building revolutionary robotic systems that combine innovative AI, sophisticated control systems, and advanced mechanical design to create adaptable automation solutions capable of working safely alongside humans in dynamic environments. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of robotics and automation at an unprecedented scale, working with world-class teams pushing the boundaries of what's possible in robotic manipulation, locomotion, and human-robot interaction.

We're looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager who will be an extension of the senior leadership team and will drive collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, construction, and operations teams to ensure our plans are aligned and critical paths are tackled as effectively as possible.

This is an exciting opportunity to start from a blank slate and use first principles fundamentals to execute on a fully integrated product with the ambition to enable the most advanced high volume manufacturing in the world.

Key job responsibilities - Work cross functionally with other TPMs, program teams, SW teams, applied scientists, and research to align on priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines - Translate ambiguous research objectives into structured plans with clear milestones, owners, and exit criteria - Identify risks and dependencies early, escalate with data, and drive resolution - Build and maintain mechanisms (reviews, dashboards, status cadences) that give leadership visibility without creating drag on teams - Coordinate across orgs to unblock teams, resolve competing priorities, and negotiate tradeoffs - Drive multi-quarter roadmap planning in partnership with engineering and science leadership - Manage a cross functional process to translate customer and business needs into a sequenced product roadmap and releases - Show ownership and leadership in coordinating projects across multiple teams, driving them to successful conclusion while building strong relationships with internal partners

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 3+ years of software development experience - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
