As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) supporting AWS Enterprise Support's Strategic Industries segment, you will be a trusted technical advisor to Fortune 100-200 companies that are recognized as global industry pioneers and market leaders. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and digital transformation initiatives across various technologies, including GenAI, AI/ML, Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, Application-level Services, Networking, Serverless, Deployment, Security and more.

This strategic position goes beyond traditional technical support - you will serve as the primary technical strategist and 'voice of the customer' for some of the world's most influential organizations. Working with these industry titans requires exceptional technical acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise environments.

Within the Enterprise Support team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the success of these market-leading customers in developing and scaling mission-critical applications and services on the AWS platform. As a strategic expert, you will provide executive-level guidance throughout the customer's AWS journey, architecting solutions that drive industry-wide innovation and set new standards for cloud adoption.

Key job responsibilities Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering strategic technical guidance that aligns with the customer's business objectives and industry-specific challenges Advising on enterprise-scale architecture decisions and cloud transformation strategies Supporting mission-critical project planning and launches Resolving complex operational challenges that could impact industry-leading operations Providing proactive recommendations and risk mitigation strategies throughout the entire cloud adoption lifecycle Engaging with senior technical and business stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives

This role requires deep technical expertise combined with the ability to influence and drive change at the highest levels of global organizations that shape their respective industries.

About the team Enterprise Support Strategic Industries includes strategic accounts and seven industry business units across the global verticals - Financial Services, Industrial and Manufacturing, Media and Entertainment, Telecom, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Energy and Utility, and Automotive. Strategic Industries customers consists of Fortune 100 - 200 companies that are considered “Industry Movers and Leaders” across the world. The strategic accounts within Strategic Industries are visionaries who leverage the cloud to drive growth strategies. Strategic accounts are not just large AWS customers, they are collaborative partners who seek to drive innovation and shape the future of cloud services.

- 5+ years of technical engineering experience - Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment - Business level both Japanese skill and English skill - Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment

- Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings - experience in working with overseas stakeholders.
