The posting

The company

ambi. is a talent company. Three arms: careers (recruitment), studio (positioning and content), reset (career education). Over 1,000 placements across the US, UK, Portugal, Spain and Brazil. One company, three arms, no gaps.

Reset is the B2C arm. Right now we have network.reset: a private mentorship for senior professionals navigating a job market where the old rules stopped working. It's already selling. It's not yet a business.

The bet

Career education is stuck in two bad categories: cheap generic courses that teach nothing, and expensive coaching that's mostly vibes. Nobody has built the premium, modern, founder-led version of it: the G4 Educação of career navigation. Same energy: high production, high price, real operators teaching real things, brand people are proud to be seen following.

We have the raw material. The book, the method, the case for why the market changed, real placements to back the credibility, and an audience that already listens. What's missing is someone who wakes up owning this and nothing else.

The role

You become the head of ambi.reset. Not a manager of it, the owner of it. Product, positioning, pricing, growth, delivery, hiring for the arm. You report to no roadmap but the one you build with our founder.

This is a partnership, not a hire. Fixed comp is low on purpose. The upside is equity in what Reset becomes. If you need a salary to feel secure, this isn't your role. If you want to build something you actually own a piece of, it is.

What you'll actually do

  • Turn network.reset from a manual mentorship into a real product line, decide what scales as 1:1, what becomes cohort-based, what becomes self-serve, and in what order.
  • Own the B2C brand end to end: how Reset sounds, looks and shows up, distinct from careers and studio but clearly ambi.
  • Build the sales motion for a premium mentorship product sold on trust, not funnels. No mass-market discounting, no race to the bottom.
  • Decide what Reset builds next after the book and the course, live cohorts, a paid community, certification, whatever the market actually asks for, not whatever's trendy.
  • Work the numbers like an operator: what a client costs to acquire, what they're worth, what breaks first when volume grows.
  • Recruit and manage whoever Reset needs as it scales, mentors, content, ops, while keeping the team small and the standards high.

Who this is for

  • You've either built or run a big chunk of a premium education or coaching brand before, and you know what "premium" actually costs to deliver, not just how to say the word.
  • You think in P&L, not in content calendars. Content is a tool, not the job.
  • You can sit across from a senior exec or a founder and be credible in the room, because you've either been one or you've sold to enough of them to fake it convincingly, except we'd rather you didn't have to fake it.
  • You want equity more than you want a paycheck this year.
  • You're allergic to over-engineering. We validate manually before we automate anything. If your instinct is to build a platform before there's demand for one, this isn't your role.

Who this is not for

  • Anyone who needs a fixed title, a fixed comp package and a fixed scope before they'll commit.
  • Anyone who thinks "career coach" means motivational content and no real operating discipline.
  • Anyone who's never had to sell something expensive to someone skeptical.

How this starts

No perfect brief, no finished org chart. You'd be building the plan with Leo starting week one, what Reset becomes in year one, what gets built first, what gets killed. If that sounds like the job, not the risk, reach out with what you'd actually do with Reset in the first 90 days.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
