Gritton & Associates is a family-owned and operated company that was founded in 1967. We are a supplier of equipment for the HVAC, plumbing and industrial systems. Over the years, our product offering has grown from representing pumps and heat exchanger to boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, and so much more. What started out as a small single office in Salt Lake City with four employees has grown into a multi-state representative firm in the mountain west. Job Description
The Inside Sales Project Manager plays a crucial role in supporting sales operations and managing project execution. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. The ideal candidate will work closely with outside sales representatives, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves customer engagement, order management, and technical support to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Sales Support:
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to deliver accurate product information.
- Understand customer needs and provide expert recommendations for technical solutions.
- Respond to inquiries, prepare competitive quotes, submittals, and follow up on sales opportunities.
Project Management & Execution:
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial sales coordination to final delivery.
- Manage order processing, track shipments, and schedule deliveries for supplied equipment.
- Coordinate equipment startup and warranty services to ensure seamless implementation.
- Prepare and maintain post-sale documentation for internal and customer records.
Technical Expertise & Industry Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Assist with technical documentation, proposals, and customer information.
- Provide design and application assistance to customers and internal teams using industry best practices.
- Continually participate in product training and system application courses, both virtually and in-person at manufacturing facilities.
Collaboration & Ethics:
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to support business growth.
- Conduct all business interactions with professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong mechanical systems aptitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer applications.
- Ability to learn various software packages from various factories
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 lbs., as well as frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, industrial equipment, or a related industry is a plus.

Compensation: $61,585 - $75,000
