The posting

Job description

At Realcognita, we’re committed to solving some of the industry’s most pressing challenges in building administration and empowering builders with the technologically advanced tools and resources they need to compete in an evolving industry.

We’re proud to have partnered with some of the world’s largest, most prominent residential building companies, helping them scale up, reduce costs, and deliver projects on time and on budget. We’re an experienced team of former builders, industry leaders, and experienced professionals located around the globe: Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, and the United States. Together, we’re on a mission to empower visionary builders

We offer competitive pay and benefits in addition to working to develop you and your career through educational opportunities, training, and mentorship. Help us build the best company culture out there.

  • Previous experience in engineering, construction, drafting or technical document control.
  • Good understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
  • Ability to recognise drawing changes and assess their potential relevance to precast concrete and structural steel.
  • Experience with Aconex, TeamBinder, ACC or similar document management systems would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong Excel skills, including drawing registers, revision tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Good written English and communication skills.
  • Proactive, reliable and comfortable following up with different teams.

1. Drawing and Revision Management

  • Monitor all client platforms daily, including Aconex, TeamBinder, ACC, Dropbox, email and other project-specific systems.
  • Identify newly issued drawings, revisions, specifications, RFIs and other relevant technical information.
  • Review drawing titles, revision numbers, descriptions and transmittals to understand what has changed.
  • Identify which documents are relevant to our scope, particularly precast concrete, structural steel and associated structural works.
  • Filter out unrelated information. For example, minor civil or landscaping changes should not be forwarded to the modelling team unless they affect our scope.
  • Maintain an organised drawing register showing the latest revisions, issue dates and document status.
  • Ensure superseded drawings are clearly identified and teams can easily access the latest documents.

2. Engineering Team Coordination

  • Notify the relevant Team Leaders when new information affecting their projects is received.
  • Highlight important revisions that may affect ongoing modelling, shop drawings or previously issued documentation.
  • Identify potential discrepancies between architectural, structural and other relevant drawings.
  • Escalate unclear or potentially significant changes to the Team Leader for technical review.
  • Follow up on missing drawings, outstanding information and pending responses.
  • Ensure critical updates are communicated promptly rather than discovered after modelling has progressed.

3. Project Document Control

  • Maintain consistent folder structures, document naming and revision control across all projects.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing transmittals and maintain document records.
  • Track drawing submissions, approvals, comments, rejections and resubmissions.
  • Maintain a central register of project documentation and outstanding actions.
  • Support project handovers and ensure teams have the correct information before commencing work.

Job benefits

  • Day 1 HMO Coverage
  • VL/SL Credits
  • Group Personal Accident Insurance
  • Annual Performance Appraisal
  • Annual Year-End Celebration
  • Sports Fest and Team Engagement Activities
  • Monthly Tea Time and Employee Engagement Sessions

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

The numbers game

More applications. More interviews.

Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting and paid once. Send enough of them and the law of large numbers finds you the job.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
