Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or bringing leading edge products to market, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward. Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive Microsoft Windows initiatives across AMD products. You will work closely with AMD and Microsoft engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, helping translate new Windows features and technologies into coordinated development efforts across hardware, drivers, operating systems, validation, and software integration. Your work will help deliver optimized user experiences that improve product performance, battery life, and enable new technologies, while ensuring Windows takes full advantage of AMD CPU, GPU, and platform capabilities. You will have end-to-end visibility from early feature definition through development and product integration, helping ensure customers can take full advantage of everything AMD products have to offer.

THE PERSON:

You are a strong communicator who enjoys solving both technical and organizational challenges. Curious and technically minded, you can quickly understand complex information, ask the right questions, and help teams find practical solutions. You are highly organized, comfortable working across multiple engineering teams, and able to independently drive several technical initiatives forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive technical engagements with Microsoft Windows feature teams for AMD client CPU, APU, and GPU products.
  • Ensure Microsoft engineering teams have the AMD product and technical information needed to make informed decisions about Windows features and behaviors.
  • Partner with AMD platform engineering teams to ensure Windows releases take advantage of AMD silicon and platform capabilities.
  • Lead the definition, development, and delivery of new Windows feature requests in collaboration with Microsoft and AMD engineering teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional engineering activities from initial requirements through development, validation, and integration.
  • Track project priorities, dependencies, risks, and deliverables to keep multiple technical initiatives moving forward.
  • Support AMD and Microsoft engineering teams in technical investigation and problem resolution as needed.
  • Collaborate across technology areas when initiatives span graphics, chipset, media, platform, and other AMD products.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in technical program, project, or product management within a software engineering environment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows client technologies and feature teams is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems and hardware/software integration.
  • Experience coordinating software development and validation activities across multiple engineering teams.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into clear project plans, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Familiarity with CPU, GPU, platform, and device driver technologies is desired.
  • Experience managing multiple technical initiatives, dependencies, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong technical communication skills and experience working across organizational or company boundaries.
  • Software development or coding experience is beneficial but not required.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience is preferred.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
