Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop medium‑voltage and below electrical systems (typically 480V and under) for energy efficiency and facility upgrade projects, including preparation of drawings, specifications, calculations, and narrative scopes of work for retrofit projects in existing facilities.

  • Support project development by contributing to technical approaches, constructability reviews, and system‑level electrical design decisions.
  • Develop and support preliminary cost estimates for electrical scope, including equipment, installation, and construction‑related impacts.
  • Coordinate with internal engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to validate design intent, constructability, and pricing.
  • Support commissioning (Cx) activities and measurement and verification (M&V) planning related to electrical scopes to help ensure energy and performance requirements are achieved.
  • Assist with managing technical scope changes during execution to maintain alignment with project objectives, budgets, and guaranteed performance requirements.
  • Ensure electrical designs and installed systems comply with applicable codes, industry standards, safety requirements, and customer requirements.
  • Travel as required to support project execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an electrical engineering or project engineering role.
  • Ability to review confidential U.S. security-related information.

Additional Qualifications:

  • EIT/PE license preferred.
  • Certification or progress toward Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred.
  • Experience supporting energy efficiency projects, ESPC or UESC programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with Federal or government facilities preferred.
  • Exposure to lighting retrofits, electrical distribution upgrades, controls integration, generators, or building automation systems preferred.
  • Experience supporting construction-phase activities such as submittal reviews, RFIs, and field coordination.
  • Working knowledge of commissioning (Cx) and measurement and verification (M&V) concepts preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and electrical design or analysis software preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
