NOW HIRING: SCHOOL NURSE (RN) | Calaveras County

Are you passionate about supporting student health and success? We're seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join a school-based team and make a meaningful impact on students' lives every day.

Key Responsibilities: Promote and monitor student health and wellness Administer and oversee school health programs Conduct health screenings and maintain student health records Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and community agencies Support students with special education needs and participate in IEP meetings Provide health education, staff training, and emergency preparedness support Manage communicable disease prevention and medication administration

Qualifications: • Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) credential • School Nurse credential or willing to obtain it • Knowledge of school health regulations, IEPs, and special education services • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Under the direction of the County Superintendent and Site Administrators, the School Nurse will conduct health services and health education for school age children and case managed families. The nurse will strengthen and facilitate the educational process through the improvement of the health status and expansion of knowledge base of the student. The nurse will function in accordance with state law, California Education Code, and district policies and procedures.

San Andreas, CA (Calaveras County) 205 Days per Year; 8 Hours per Day M-F 8am-4:30pm Will assist district wide Travel between all sites within the district for hearing and vision screenings Local rate: $72-75/hr
