Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Integration Lead to design, build, and support modern enterprise data integration solutions. This role will lead the delivery of scalable data pipelines and integration services using Azure Data Factory, ETL/ELT frameworks, and Azure Integration Services. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can translate business needs into reliable integration solutions, guide development teams, and strengthen integration delivery practices across cloud, application, and data platforms.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory.
  • Build and orchestrate ETL and ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery across enterprise applications and data platforms.
  • Design integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and API Management.
  • Develop reliable batch, near real-time, and event-driven integration patterns that support business-critical processes.
  • Create reusable pipeline components, integration patterns, naming standards, error-handling approaches, and operational best practices.
  • Partner with architects, business stakeholders, data teams, and application teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Prepare technical specifications, source-to-target mappings, data flow documentation, and implementation designs.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tuning to improve production reliability and supportability.
  • Guide CI/CD practices, release automation, environment configuration, and deployment standards for integration assets.
  • Mentor developers through code reviews, design walkthroughs, troubleshooting support, and delivery guidance.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data integration, or enterprise integration delivery.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, including pipelines, linked services, datasets, triggers, integration runtimes, monitoring, and deployment practices.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing ETL and ELT pipelines at enterprise scale.
  • Solid understanding of data integration concepts, including source-to-target mapping, data validation, data transformation, orchestration, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with Azure Integration Services such as Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and API Management.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs, SOAP services, relational databases, flat files, cloud storage, and enterprise applications.
  • Working knowledge of integration security such as OAuth2, JWT, client credentials, managed identities, secrets management, and API policies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, parameterized deployments, and environment-based release management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and production support skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate across business and technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Azure certifications related to data engineering, integration, cloud development, or cloud architecture.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud integration, enterprise data platforms, or modern data lakehouse architectures.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, Azure DevOps, Git-based source control, and DevOps operating models.
  • Experience with observability tools, operational dashboards, runbooks, and production support processes.
  • Exposure to financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated enterprise environments.
