Job Description

Help drive smarter transportation decisions in a global supply chain network

Are you a student with an interest in supply chain, transportation, data analytics, and business decision-making? Would you like to work on a real business challenge within a global biotechnology company and develop solutions that support critical supply chain decisions?

Join our team as a Global Transportation Excellence Intern and become part of a team responsible for developing the transportation systems and capabilities that help ensure medicines reach patients in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Working within a global and dynamic environment, you will contribute to a project focused on improving transportation decision-making through data, analytics, and process optimization. You will help assess current ways of working, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop tools that support faster and better-informed business decisions.

What will you do?

You will support a strategic transportation project by:

  • Analyzing transportation data and combining insights from multiple data sources.
  • Assessing current processes for transportation lane and modality selection.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve transportation decision-making and efficiency.
  • Developing tools and frameworks to support route, supplier, and cost evaluations.
  • Collaborating with transportation and procurement teams to understand business requirements.
  • Supporting the creation of solutions that can be scaled across a global transportation network.

Who are we looking for?

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, and are looking for a final-year internship of approximately 6 months.

You also:

  • Have strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with data from multiple sources.
  • Enjoy solving complex business problems through data-driven decision-making.
  • Have an interest in supply chain, logistics, and transportation operations.
  • Are comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Can work independently while managing priorities and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Are curious, proactive, and eager to learn in an international environment.

What will you gain?

This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global transportation operations and strategic decision-making within an international biotechnology company.

You will also:

  • Develop a strong understanding of transportation sourcing and supplier management.
  • Learn how transportation metrics drive business decisions in a global organisation.
  • Work alongside experienced professionals in transportation, procurement, and supply chain.
  • Gain exposure to a complex international transportation network.
  • Strengthen your analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deliver a solution that may ultimately support transportation decision-making on a global scale.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
