Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation, this mindset shapes everything we do.

What you can expect:

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll partner with municipalities, cities, and government-run recreation departments across North America to help them transform how they serve their communities through Amilia’s SmartRec SaaS platform.

At Amilia, we believe in building genuine, trust-based relationships and caring deeply about the impact our clients make. You’ll embrace a consultative, solution-oriented approach — not just selling software, but truly owning the client’s success as your own — while showing how SmartRec simplifies operations, improves accessibility, increases revenue and drives real efficiency in line with public sector standards.

You will be responsible for:

  • Navigate the public sector sales cycle by working closely with city officials, recreation directors, and procurement teams to close deals within government regulations and budget constraints.
  • Developing and executing tailored sales strategies to drive outbound pipeline growth.
  • Drive revenue and efficiency by consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets while helping municipalities streamline registration, scheduling, and online payments.
  • Understand government decision-making by adapting sales strategies to the public sector’s unique procurement process, including RFPs, committee and board review, budget approvals, and compliance considerations.
  • Comfort managing a team-focused sales process that engages multiple divisions and stakeholders within the target account and Amilia to ensure strategic accounts are acquired.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations to show city leaders how SmartRec improves accessibility, operational efficiency, and financial management.
  • Build and maintain relationships by becoming a trusted partner for local governments and staying attuned to evolving recreation trends, funding models, and policy changes.
  • Represent Amilia in the industry by attending municipal conferences, public sector forums, and recreation summits to engage key decision-makers.
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting by keeping all sales activities updated in CRM tools like Salesforce to ensure accurate reporting and data-driven decisions.

What we want from you:

  • 8 or more years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a track record of closing enterprise deals in the public sector, government, or municipal space.
  • Experience working with Parks & Recreation, municipalities, or other government agencies is a strong asset.
  • Understanding RFPs, procurement cycles, and public budget approvals to navigate complex sales processes.
  • Strong consultative sales approach that aligns technology solutions with government efficiency, compliance, and community impact goals.
  • Ability to engage multiple stakeholders, from city managers and finance directors to recreation coordinators and IT teams.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with experience handling long sales cycles and multi-layered approval processes.
  • Tech-savvy mindset, comfortable presenting SaaS solutions and guiding municipalities through digital transformation.
  • Must be willing to travel for in-person meetings, industry conferences, and client engagements.

What you will get from us:

  • A competitive and progressive salary;
  • A group RRSP employer contribution up to 5%;
  • A group insurance for you and your family as well as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and telemedicine;
  • A $750 wellness allowance per year;
  • The possibility of working in the office or at home, and up to 3 months abroad per year *conditions apply;
  • Cellphone allowance.
  • A strong work-life balance: flexible hours, 4 weeks' vacation and 8 sick days yearly, and year-round mini-Fridays;
  • Skill development opportunities through engaging workshops, communities of practice, trainings, access to Udemy and opportunities to attend conferences;
  • Companywide and team bonding activities to connect with your peers throughout the year and social activities to connect with your peers;
  • Weekly Bootcamp and Pilates classes for Amilians;
  • 25% discount on annual membership for STM and EXO;
  • In-office snacks, including fresh fruit baskets, coffee, beverages, and free drinks.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
