The posting

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen en coachen van de nachtploeg: ondersteunen, begeleiden, motiveren, opleiden, feedback geven, … teneinde de competenties, vaardigheden en knowhow optimaal te benutten en te ontwikkelen.
  • Je staat in voor een efficiënte taakverdeling en organisatie, je belegt hiervoor ook de nodige overlegmomenten samen met de teamleaders in jouw team en jouw collega Nightshift Managers in andere sites om de logistieke operaties op een gestructureerde wijze te organiseren.
  • Je volgt de belangrijke deadlines strikt op (respecteren van de cut-off times) voor de verschillende logistieke processen, zowel voor de interne teams alsook voor de externe contacten, zodat de pakketten en leveringen op tijd klaar zijn.
  • Je bent mee in de lead in de site te Roeselare voor de concrete implementatie van onze nieuwe ‘innight delivery' logistieke activiteiten in combinatie met onze pers-gerelateerde activiteiten. Hiervoor neem je actief de nodige projectmatige en operationele initiatieven om de inrichting en processen in de site maximaal efficiënt te organiseren, om jouw team hiervoor op te leiden en te begeleiden, en ook om de externe transportfirma's en chauffeurs hierbij te begeleiden.
  • Je zorgt voor een actieve opvolging van de KPI's en stelt oplossingen en verbeteringen voor om onze logistieke processen en procedures continu te optimaliseren. Je analyseert klachten van klanten en stelt concrete oplossingen voor om gelijkaardige klachten in de toekomst te voorkomen met het oog op maximale klantentevredenheid.
  • Je staat in voor de logistieke administratie en reporting met betrekking tot de nachtactiviteiten en de controle ervan.
  • Je staat in voor de maatregelen in het kader van het welzijn op het werk en voor de strikte opvolging van de veiligheidsprocedures.
  • Je bent eveneens het aanspreekpunt voor de syndicale afgevaardigden.
  • Je werkt zo'n 60% administratief en 40% op de werkvloer met en tussen jouw team in de site.
  • Sterke logistieke ervaring in een logistieke of operationele context.
  • People management skills en communicatievaardigheden. Je creëert graag een positieve teamsfeer en kan mensen motiveren en enthousiasmeren, je bent een echte teamplayer.
  • Nederlandstalig met een goede kennis van het Frans, Engels is een pluspunt.
  • Affiniteit met IT applicaties en goede kennis van Microsoft Office (voornamelijk Excel), kennis van SAP is een plus.
  • Uitstekende organisatorische vaardigheden en analytisch inzicht.
  • “can-do” en “no-nonsense” mentaliteit, beslisvaardigheid en oplossingsgericht.
  • Polyvalent en flexibel ingesteldheid naar werkuren toe.
