⚙️ Senior Operations Manager – Medical Device Manufacturing

📍 AMT Pte Ltd | Singapore, Tuas West

🏢 About AMT

AMT Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based contract manufacturer supporting global medical device OEMs with high-precision assembly and production solutions. Our ISO 13485:2016-certified facility combines disciplined processes, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and a quality-driven culture to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable outcomes for customers worldwide.

🎯 The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead the operational performance of our contract manufacturing programs. You will bring together Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and other support functions to deliver on safety, quality, delivery, cost, capacity, and customer expectations—from New Product Introduction (NPI) through mass production.

As a key customer-facing leader, you will drive manufacturing readiness, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across our medical device manufacturing operations.

✅ What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day operations for contract manufacturing programs and deliver customer and company objectives.
  • Own operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, capacity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet production plans, shipment commitments, and customer requirements.
  • Plan manpower, equipment, tooling, materials, and production capacity to support demand and growth.
  • Identify and address material shortages, capacity constraints, quality concerns, and delivery risks before they impact customers.
  • Serve as a key operational contact for customers, leading regular reviews on production, delivery, quality, capacity, and improvement actions.
  • Lead NPI, product transfer, validation, ramp-up, and mass-production execution, ensuring full manufacturing readiness before launch.
  • Drive improvements in cycle time, line balancing, yield, OEE, manpower utilization, scrap, rework, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Support customer and regulatory audits while promoting accountability, teamwork, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • 👤 What We’re Looking For
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Typically 8–10 years of medical device manufacturing experience, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing engineering, quality systems, supply chain, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Hands-on experience with NPI, product transfer, process validation, capacity planning, and production ramp-up.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, OEE, SPC, FMEA, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience working in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 environments is an advantage.
  • Proven operational leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer-management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • ⭐ Why Join AMT?
  • Lead high-impact medical device manufacturing programs for global OEM customers.
  • Shape operational performance from NPI and product transfer through stable mass production.
  • Work in a quality-focused environment committed to compliance, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
