About the role

The Executive Assistant serves as a partner to the leadership team at Anadyr Horizon, providing high-level administrative and operational support that ensures the smooth functioning of the Chief Scientific Officer’s executive activities. This role requires strategic communication skills and a proactive mindset to anticipate needs, as well as manage complex priorities. It is helpful if the Executive Assistant has prior work experience in an office or startup environment. This position is especially important because the CSO moves quickly, juggles a heavy volume of communication, and relies on a structured, detail-oriented partner to keep workflow, scheduling, and follow-through running smoothly.

What you’ll do

  • Calendar & logistics: Manage CSO’s schedule, coordinate travel, and handle sensitive logistics with discretion.
  • Operational support: Take notes, and track follow-ups for leadership meetings, helping us move forward as a company
  • Communication: Draft professional correspondence, manage email inboxes, and serve as a trusted point of contact internally and externally
  • Materials & prep: Support the creation of presentations, memos, and briefing documents; proofread and format for clarity as well as style
  • Confidential support: Handle sensitive information under NDA conditions with the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Special projects: Jump in on various initiatives—from event coordination to research—ensuring priorities are executed on time
  • Workflow management: Help the CSO stay on top of commitments, deadlines, and priorities by organizing tasks, prompting timely responses, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Structure & accountability: Provide gentle, consistent systems that keep calendars updated, communications clear, and workstreams organized so the CSO can stay focused on scientific and strategic leadership.

What you’ll bring

  • Ideally, prior experience as an executive assistant, chief of staff assistant, or in operations/administrative support.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; sharp note-taking and summarization ability.
  • Comfort operating in high-intensity, technical, or confidential environments.
  • Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to discretion.
  • A steady, calm, and structured working style that complements a fast-moving executive with a high cognitive load and limited bandwidth for administrative tasks.

Impact

This role gives you direct access to the Chief Scientific Officer—one of Anadyr Horizon’s three co-founders—working side by side on high-stakes priorities at the heart of the company. You’ll give leadership back their most valuable resource—time—and ensure Anadyr Horizon executes with precision as we scale. Your support will directly improve coordination across the leadership track, strengthening communication flow and reducing friction created by competing priorities or delayed responses.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
