OneStream Federal Data Architect

Andrew Morgan LLC (AM) is a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. We are currently seeking a qualified OneStream Federal Data Architect to join our team supporting our Federal Client.

As a OneStream Federal Data Architect, you will design, build, and sustain the data foundation for enterprise financial management solutions supporting federal clients, including the Department of War and Federal Civilian Agencies. The Data Architect will lead the design of data integration strategies, ETL pipelines, and dimensional structures that feed OneStream budget formulation, execution, and reporting processes. This role requires deep technical expertise in OneStream data management combined with a strong understanding of federal financial data, source systems, and the budget lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and maintain the end-to-end data architecture for OneStream implementations, including dimensional models, data sources, transformation rules, and integration workflows aligned to federal budget and appropriation structures.
• Develop, optimize, and document ETL processes that extract, transform, and load data from federal financial and ERP systems (e.g., GFEBS, DAI, Oracle, SAP, Momentum or legacy accounting systems) into OneStream.
• Build and manage OneStream Data Management jobs, Connectors, Workflow profiles, and transformation rule sets to ensure accurate, timely, and auditable data loads.
• Author and maintain business rules and scripts (VB.NET and/or C#) and SQL queries supporting data integration, validation, and automation.
• Establish data quality, reconciliation, and validation controls that support audit readiness and traceability of financial data from source to report.
• Map federal financial data elements, including appropriations, program elements, funds, object classes, and cost centers, into OneStream metadata and dimension hierarchies.
• Collaborate with functional leads, budget analysts, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical data designs.
• Produce technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, interface control documents, mapping specifications, and runbooks for sustainment teams.
• Support performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for data load and integration issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and analysts and contribute to design reviews and architectural decisions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 8 years of total professional experience in data architecture, data engineering, ETL development, or enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing data integrations within OneStream (via REST API, SFTP, ODBC, Smart Integration Connector-SIC, Flat files), including Data Management, Connectors, transformation rules, and Workflow.
• Demonstrated ETL experience using tools such as OneStream Data Management, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Informatica, Azure Data Factory, or comparable platforms.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database design, with experience in Microsoft SQL Server or similar environments.
• Experience developing OneStream business rules in VB.NET or C#.
• Experience supporting federal government clients, preferably within DoW, 4th Estate or Federal Civilian Agencies.
• Working knowledge of federal financial management concepts, including appropriations, budget formulation and execution, and the PPBE process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• OneStream OCA or OCP Certification
• Familiarity with DoW financial systems and data standards, including the Standard Line of Accounting (SLOA) and audit readiness requirements (FIAR).
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred) and API-based integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
