At Andrew Peller Limited, we are passionate about bringing people together through extraordinary experiences. We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our team and play an important role in supporting our demand planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. Under the supervision of the National Demand Planning Manager, the Demand Planner will be responsible for providing and maintaining a valid five-year trade channel forecast using historical data, statistical analysis and input from Sales, Marketing and Business Insights to ensure forecast accuracy. This role works closely with cross-functional partners to develop reliable volume and revenue forecasts, monitor performance, identify trends and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement across the business. This role is considered Hybrid and physical offices are located in Oakville and Grimsby. What this teammate will be responsible for

Generate monthly item trade channel forecasts in volume, based on shipment and market trends, statistical projections, promotional plans, and input from Sales, Marketing, Business Insights, Finance and Supply. Model promotional forecasts (lift volume) in weekly buckets and assign causal factors to project net revenue. Monitor shipment performance versus the item-level forecast and determine root causes to improve forecast accuracy and bias. Lead periodic Demand Planning–Sales meetings to discuss exceptions in past performance, review assumptions, risks and opportunities, and reach consensus on volume and revenue forecasts. Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners to build market and customer knowledge. Monitor performance against forecast and Budget (volume and revenue) and provide detailed input for use in the Sales & Operations process. Act as a change leader by fostering relationships, functional skills and process understanding to facilitate change and drive sustainable process and business improvements in the IBP cycle. Use and maintain Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool. Work closely with Marketing, Business Insights and Sales to forecast new products. Provide input and analysis for Demand Review meetings. Maintain a good understanding of related supply chain processes and the downstream effects of demand planning decisions. Assist with the management of item and vintage relationships to ensure sales through the proper vintage. Maintain and utilize forecasting tools and methodologies established within the IBP process.

What skills and experience the teammate will bring

Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Science or a related field. Forecasting experience within Marketing, Sales or Demand Planning. Two to five years of experience in Demand Planning within the CPG or manufacturing industry. Expert knowledge of Excel, Power Pivot and Power Query, with working knowledge of Power BI. Strong understanding of sales within a multi-channel national organization. Expertise in statistical analysis, with experience in an Oracle environment or other ERP software. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns and trends in large amounts of data and adapt to changing markets. Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, straightforward communications. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
