  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance production capabilities, incorporating new technologies and methodologies.
  • Own documentation required for successfully manufacturing product group hardware at scale, such as work instructions, inspection plans & requirements, etc.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability of new designs and smooth transition from prototype to production.
  • Assist in the selection, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal integration into production lines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that result in cost reduction, quality enhancement, and throughput maximization.
  • Manage budgets and forecast future manufacturing needs, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Establish and maintain robust training and documentation programs to enhance team skills and promote cross-functional knowledge sharing.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and accountability within the manufacturing engineering department.
  • Serve as the technical expert and point of contact for manufacturing engineering issues, providing guidance and support to resolve complex problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, from initial design through to full-scale production.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of equipment and materials and maintain quality standards.
  • Analyze production metrics and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements within the manufacturing process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of leading teams, developing new products and processes, and cradle to grave ownership.
  • Experience driving process improvements in a manufacturing setting.
  • An attitude of world-class mission assurance, quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
  • A genuine interest in manufacturing and thirst for learning.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience leading cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
