The posting

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

Delivering that mission for our allies means being where they are. Anduril is expanding its presence across the world, and Corporate Technology International builds and runs the IT, infrastructure and security behind that growth in every market outside the United States. We're often running several initiatives at once, and each one is critical to our success as a business.

This is an ownership role and you will grow with the function. As our Technical Program Manager, you'll run our international portfolio from Sydney and be responsible for whether each initiative is ready and signed off on time, with the full authority to keep it moving.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Keep every initiative in the portfolio on plan, tracking status, blockers, spend and dates.
  • Run the routine program syncs and the monthly portfolio review for CorpTech International leadership.
  • Own the schedule for each new site build or expansion, managing dependencies to keep us on track.
  • Make decisions when they're needed: re-sequence work, commit dates and scope to stakeholders, and approve spend that's already funded.
  • Be the front door for requests from local leadership, Anduril's business lines and our own teams, and keep them briefed on the initiatives they depend on with short written updates.
  • Work at the technical level. Understand networks, identity and physical security well enough to question a design, spot a gap in a bill of materials, and explain the trade-offs to executives.
  • Partner with teams across Anduril, including Strategic Real Estate, Business Operations, Finance, Security and Trade Compliance.
  • Use your expertise and judgement to help design how we run programs: templates, metrics, reporting and retrospectives that make each new market quicker to stand up than the last one.
  • Bring the same discipline to our internal initiatives, such as capability development, planning cycles and leadership reviews.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in technical program or project management, including running several concurrent projects as a program
  • A track record of delivering technical programs, such as offices, data centres, networks or secure facilities, where physical works and IT have to come together
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up, where you built the process as you went
  • A fast learner. You don't need a defence background, but you'll need to get across security, compliance and new markets quickly
  • Technical enough to hold your own with engineers and make sound decisions on your own, and experienced enough to know when to escalate
  • You've written the plans and updates that engineers, vendors and executives worked from, often across time zones, and kept them accurate through delivery
  • A degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Australian work rights

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Delivered portfolios of programs across multiple countries, or across multiple sites and states within Australia
  • Citizenship of an AUKUS nation (Australia, United Kingdom or United States)
  • A project or program management qualification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or AgilePM. Useful to have, but experience delivering programs counts for more
  • Set up program tooling and reporting yourself, in Jira or similar, for a team that didn't have it
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance, should the business need require it

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
