Every donation collected and every delivery completed helps fund programs and services that support vulnerable people across our communities.

As our Op Shop Driver, you will play an essential role in collecting, transporting and delivering donated goods safely and efficiently across Anglicare’s retail network. Through your commitment to exceptional service, safety and operational excellence, you'll help ensure our Op Shops remain well-stocked and continue generating vital funds that support people in need.

With integrity and resilience, you will:

  • Build positive relationships with donors, customers, volunteers and store teams through excellent customer service
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery processes and operational efficiency

What you'll bring

You take pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. You also share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence.

You will also need:

  • Current NSW Driver Licence (or equivalent)
  • Ability to safely lift, move and handle donated goods and stock
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience in delivery driving, transport, warehousing or logistics
  • Experience working in a retail, not-for-profit or customer service environment
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
  • Experience coordinating stock movements across multiple locations
  • A positive and flexible approach to supporting operational requirements

Made for Connection

We’re many services, with one purpose, to meet people where they are and walk with them. At Anglicare, we believe everyone is Made for Connection, with God, with each other, and with the places we call home. But sometimes, life unravels. That’s where we step in, in Community and Mission, offering hope, support, and presence.

From food relief to chaplaincy, crisis care to caring for the wellbeing of the elderly, every moment of connection matters. And it’s not just what we do. It’s how we do it: side-by-side, with compassion and care.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
