Transform lives, every single day

Do you want a career that means more?

At Anglicare Sydney, we have been serving people, enriching lives and strengthening communities for more than 170 years. As one of Australia's largest Christian organisations, we support thousands of older people, families, children and individuals through aged care, community services, housing and community services programs.

As our Quality Lead - Remediation and Change, you'll be key to our mission to enrich lives and strengthen communities. Working within the Quality and Compliance team, you'll lead critical remediation, quality improvement and change initiatives that improve compliance, strengthen governance and enhance resident and client outcomes across Seniors Communities.

Your opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Quality and Risk, you will lead operational remediation and change programs arising from audits, incidents, complaints, regulatory reviews and strategic improvement initiatives. Partnering closely with operational, clinical and corporate leaders, you'll ensure quality risks and compliance requirements are translated into practical improvements that embed sustainable change across the business.

By driving quality improvement, operational readiness and change implementation, you'll help strengthen service delivery, enhance compliance outcomes and support exceptional care experiences for residents and clients.

With integrity and professionalism, you will:

  • Lead remediation programs arising from audits, incidents, complaints, accreditation findings and regulatory reviews.
  • Partner with leaders to identify root causes, develop corrective action plans and embed sustainable operational improvements.
  • Lead and support strategic change initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, implementation planning and operational readiness activities.
  • Support compliance with aged care legislation, standards and regulatory requirements through practical operational improvements.
  • Analyse quality, risk, incident and complaint data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Coach operational leaders and facilitate workshops that strengthen quality, compliance and continuous improvement capability.

What you'll bring

You are a quality and compliance professional with strong project delivery capability and a passion for driving meaningful operational improvement. You enjoy partnering with stakeholders, solving complex problems and influencing change in regulated environments.

What's required:

You will also need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quality Management, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, compliance, governance or risk management within aged care, retirement living, health or a similar regulated sector
  • Experience conducting audits and supporting accreditation processes.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, legislation and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.

What's preferred:

  • Experience leading remediation, transformation or operational improvement programs.
  • Strong project management and change management skills.
  • Experience analysing quality and risk data to identify systemic issues and drive improvements.
  • Experience coaching leaders and facilitating quality improvement workshops.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across operational and corporate teams.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
