Job Description

About The Role

This is an individual contributor role that requires extensive collaboration and the ability to influence without authority — driving alignment, decisions, and execution across Supply Chain, QA/RA, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Pricing, and external partners, as needed.

Success depends on building trust, leveraging subject matter expertise, and orchestrating cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes even without formal reporting lines. The role ensures data-driven, timely decisions that protect margin, optimize allocations, and maintain high customer service standards.

Generics Business Management

Demand Planning, Forecasting Reporting & Financial Analysis Support

  • Support development and execution of the Generics commercial strategy set by the Leadership, translating priorities into operational plans
  • Provide revenue, margin, and trend analysis for the Generics segment to inform P&L decisions
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics to stay competitive
  • Track sales performance, forecast demand, and provide regular business reports to management
  • Analyze profitability, customer performance, and market trends for decision-making
  • Develop & maintain competitive intelligence, market trend analysis, forecasting accuracy, chargeback analysis, product compliance tracking, and identification of market opportunities and threats
  • Identify products approaching short-dated status on a monthly basis; work with commercial/marketing managers to finalize the product list to generate sales

Supply Chain & Operations Coordination

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Optimize demand forecasting based on historical trends and new awards/losses to meet customer demand efficiently

Retail Product Management

  • Oversee product allocation strategies, inventory management, demand planning, proactive compliance monitoring, and robust failure-to-supply management practices
  • Support in developing annual marketing budgets, long-range strategic plans, pricing reviews, and identify opportunities for product lifecycle extension
  • Implement continuous performance improvement programs, optimize stock replenishment processes, and minimize product shortages and wastage through robust logistics management

Minimize Company's Exposure with Trade Returns/Chargeback Claims

  • Reduce ANI's payout to customers for chargeback/returns claims through timely analysis and decision-making on each claim (valid, invalid, dispute)
  • Work with Finance to understand claims received by each customer group, in coordination with Trade Finance on the National Trade Return Goods Policy
  • Evaluate claims received and analyze validity; recommend which to dispute vs. accept
  • Work with commercial/marketing managers to close claims and inform Pricing teams to work with customers on resolution
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries of claims received on a periodic basis
  • Execute allocation change requests as and when required

Success Measures

Forecast accuracy & timeliness; release on-time rate; allocation file timeliness; claims cycle time & $ exposure trend; trade partner SLP/SLA adherence; opportunity cycle time; short-dated disposition timeliness.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 4-5 years of experience (6+ years for Sr. Manager) in trade/commercial operations, pricing, or sales analytics within pharmaceutical/generics; direct generics trade experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with chargebacks, rebates, contract compliance, and/or trade returns processes
  • Experience working with ERP/CRM and trade systems and pharmaceutical market data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony Health, MMIT)
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
